I'm April, a Pro Dog trainer that utilizes games to train dogs FOR the situation and not in the situation. I discovered this method when I was at my wits end with Raj, my Australian Shepherd. He never slept! Since then I have fallen in love with dog sports, training, and help others with their high energy dogs.

Once a wild runner with zero recall—cars, deer, you name it, she chased it.
If there was trouble to find, she found it (and ran straight toward it).

Now? She’s the definition of a well-mannered pet dog—calm, reliable, and always comes when called.
Proof that even the wildest hearts can become the best companions with the right approach.

Once Guilty of All the Things... Excited pees? Check.

Pulling on walks? Yup.
Over-the-top greetings, separation struggles, anxious pacing, and no sleep? Been there.

But with the right games, guidance, and a fresh approach—this wild pup transformed.
Now titled in multiple dog sports and able to relax after the right kind of physical and mental outlet.

Zoey & Raj – My Inspiration and My Teachers
Zoey came into my life at 1.5 years old, full of quirks and ready for a fresh start.
Raj joined the crew as a puppy, with all the energy and curiosity that comes with it.
They couldn’t be more different—but both have taught me so much about training, patience, and connection.

Through working with them—and many other dogs over the years—I’ve gained the tools to help dogs of all ages, backgrounds, and personalities.
